Tasmania is a culturally, religiously and linguistically diverse State, with a long history of migration.
Regardless of country of birth, language, culture, religion, or time of arrival, it is important that all Tasmanians have access to the services they need.
The Multicultural Access Point (MAP) site is a quick and easy way to find information and services for migrants and former humanitarian entrants in Tasmania, including information on interpreting services, housing and accommodation, health, community, education, managing money, transport and settlement support.
The MAP website can also assist international students and short-stay migrants to understand the services they might need while staying in Tasmania.
The cultural diversity of Tasmania brings economic and social benefits and helps build a socially inclusive society. This website can help those people who need additional support and assistance to access the services they need.
We hope you find this site informative helpful and easy to use. To keep MAP up-to-date we welcome your feedback. If you would like to add or amend information email cpp@dpac.tas.gov.au or phone (03) 6165 8371.
