Broadcasting 22 July - 2 September every Saturday from 10am - 11am at Hobart FM 96.1-92.1 FM.
A radio project, "Why I settled in Tasmania" explores the life stories with members of Hazara, Karen, Nepal, Ruanda, Oromo and South Sudan/Uganda communities, who share their own experience as refugees, their process to settling in Tasmania, and why they decided to stay here when many people from their own communities moved interstate.
The project was produced by Sonia Parra (Hobart Language Day) and with the support of the Community Broadcasting Foundation. It will be broadcast on Hobart FM 92.1/96.1 FM and in City Park Radio 103.7 FM Launceston.
