The Tasmanian Human Rights Week Committee is now taking nominations for nine Human Rights Awards.

- A Fairer World School Award
- Lucy Henry Mental Health Award
- Angus Downie Print Journalism Award
- Multicultural Award
- LGBTI Award
- Youth Award
- Robin Hood AM Sport Award
For each award a certificate and prize of $500 will be presented at the conferring ceremony in December 2016.
