Cervical Cancer Awareness Week 16-22 November 2020

A round donut shape used to promote cervical cancer testing

National Cervical Cancer Awareness Week is 16 - 22 November 2020.

The new Cervical Screening Test (CST) is more accurate and occurs less often! Most cervical cancers can be prevented by screening regularly – so it is important that all women aged 25 - 74 screen every 5 years. If you are due for cervical screening, don’t delay – book an appointment with your doctor today.

More than 80% of cervical cancers are found in women who have never screened or are overdue.

Have you had the new Cervical Screening Test (CST), or has it been 4 or more years since your last test? If so, and you are over 30, did you know you can self-collect your sample? Chat to your doctor about the option during Cervical Cancer Awareness Week!

One more thing! Did you know that the cervix looks like a donut? During Cervical Cancer Awareness Week (November 16 – 22), grab some donuts and have a CST-Tea Party to raise awareness of cervical cancer.
