The Judge

Support Association for the Women of Afghanistan (SAWA) invites you to the screening of The Judge, a documentary about Kholoud Al-Faqih, the first woman judge to be appointed to a Shari'a (Islamic law) court in Palestine.

In the Palestinian territories, civil courts handle criminal, administrative and civil law, while sharia courts adjudicate family issues.
