Windward Bound sailing trip for youth

Do you have an exceptional student or youth client who would benefit from an extraordinary experience?  This December, the Sail Training Vessel (STV) Windeward Bound will once again be setting sail from Hobart with 18 Tasmanian youth from refugee and non-refugee backgrounds. Your student or youth client could be on board!

When: 10 – 19 December 2017

Who: Tasmanian's aged 15 – 18 from refugee or non-refugee backgrounds from around Tasmania (Please note that all participants are required to have enough English language ability to fully understand and respond to safety instructions aboard the ship.)

How much: All participants must do some fundraising to help offset the costs of this voyage, and will receive guidance if required. Youth from refugee backgrounds are eligible for a subsidy to cover majority of their fundraising goal, and will receive assistance in their fundraising from Rotary Tasmania. Nobody will be turned away due to lack of funds!
