International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated on 8 March every year. IWD is a day of international recognition for the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. Individuals, community groups and organisations throughout Tasmania are encouraged to host or participate in International Women’s Day events.
Each year, the Tasmanian Government compiles a Calendar of Events for each region to advertise events being held across the State. If you are planning to hold an event and would like the event promoted on the calendar, please fill in this form and return by
