In early 2019, a new Tasmanian Multicultural Policy and Action Plan will be launched.

In developing the new Policy and Action Plan, we will draw on your experience and views, as well as successful initiatives in other jurisdictions and new research about what works.

Host Your Own Meeting

If you are a service provider or a member of a group that is involved in the multicultural community, why don’t you host your own meeting to gather the views of your clients and/or members to put in a joint submission? Get in touch with Communities, Sport and Recreation on 6232 7642, 6232 7133 or multicultural@communities.tas.gov.au, and we can:

• provide any materials you might require;
• make a small donation towards light refreshments and cover the cost of any interpreter services that are required; and
• send a representative of Communities Tasmania to meet with your group if that is your preferred approach.
